Ag Management

Ag Management 1 BTI - Career Pathway
Year    11-12
Prerequisite: Consent of instructor
This course will help students develop effective business and leadership qualities and attributes. The class will have five main parts: emphasis in agriculture management, personal development in FFA/SAE, committee chair project, career development events, and leadership team building presentations. Students who are current members or who might be interested in serving as an FFA officer or committee chair are strongly encouraged to enroll in this course. The class will allow ample opportunities for students to participate in multiple leadership and business FFA career development events at the local, district, and possibly state/national levels. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the FFA program and have an SAE project.

Ag Management 2 BTI - Career Pathway
Year    11-12
Prerequisite: Ag Management 1, Consent of Instructor
Students will further develop their skills and knowledge in agriculture management, personal development in FFA/SAE, polish their leadership skills, and develop higher level skills in public speaking.  Students will prepare for higher education, maintain SAE project records, and complete the application process for the State FFA Degree and Proficiency applications. Students will expand agricultural knowledge and technical skills to be successful in a variety of Career Development Events (CDEs). Students who are current members or who might be interested in serving as an FFA officer or committee chair are strongly encouraged to enroll in this course. To fully benefit from this course students must actively participate in the FFA program and have an SAE project. Emphasis will be placed on assuming leadership positions in the FFA organization.

Ag Management 3 BTI - Career Pathway
Year    11-12
Prerequisite: Ag Management 2, Consent of instructor
This course will help students a deeper understanding of effective business and leadership qualities and attributes. Students will further develop their skills and knowledge in agriculture management, personal development in FFA/SAE, polish their leadership skills, and develop higher level skills in public speaking.  Students will prepare for higher education, maintain SAE project records, and complete the application process for the State FFA Degree and Proficiency applications.
